Designed to project specification, the base of this fireplace can be formed in a range of natural stones – or crafted in timber, where it can double as integrated storage. Extended at hearth level, the plinth introduces visual grounding and functional versatility, with the opportunity to create an informal seating ledge positioned close to the warmth of the fire.
Above, a vertical element rises cleanly to ceiling height, finished to either blend discreetly with the surrounding architecture or articulated as a deliberate contrasting feature. A black steel back panel enhances flame definition and reflects radiant heat back into the room, increasing both visual depth and thermal performance.
The result is a contemporary fireplace of clarity, material precision, and understated architectural elegance.
