An unusual designer fireplace design.

The fire itself is built-in/recessed back so it looks as if it’s part of the wall so that the entire wall stays flush.

The client has incorporated useful storage units/cupboards as part of this media wall and the low-level stone hearth brings in another unusual dimension, texture and material to space.

The dark area immediately to the rear of the fire and running along the wall is made from mild steel and provides a seamless look along the width of this wall.

Shown here as a gas fire, this design could equally be a traditional log fire with an upward sliding mesh fireguard for spark protection.
